Our story begins on Ermou Street in Old Nicosia during the British colonial years, when Petros Athienitis opened his first shop selling roasted nuts, coffee, sweets, and loukoumia. His wife, Eleni Athieniti, worked from their home kitchen preparing sumada, ice cream, and freshly ground coffee for the store. Their small business soon became known for its quality and care — a legacy that would pass from generation to generation.
